Twist-Lok™ Access Covers and Retrofit Kits
PCI Twist-Lok Access Covers provide a watertight seal with a simple twist. Available in Standard and XL sizes, they offer dependable protection and tool-free access for inspection and service.
Twist-Lok covers are standard on PCI tank sumps and are also available as retrofit kits for existing polyethylene and fiberglass sumps. Replace a leaking cover or raise the sump access opening without breaking concrete.
Standard and XL Cover Options
Choose the cover size that fits your sump and existing access opening:
- Standard Twist-Lok: 34-inch cover. Retrofit installation requires a minimum 36-inch clear opening and an existing 38-inch or larger manhole.
- Twist-Lok XL: 39-inch cover for applications requiring larger access. Requires a minimum 40-inch clear opening.
Complete the pre-installation survey so PCI can verify fit and recommend the appropriate kit.
Repair Without Breaking Concrete
Standard and XL retrofit kits install through a properly sized existing manhole opening, providing a permanent repair while preserving the surrounding concrete. Replace a leaking sump cover or raise the sump access point with a kit matched to your installation.
12-Point Locking System
Twelve points of contact secure the cover against the sealing surface, creating a dependable watertight connection.
Hard Stop for Consistent Closure
The built-in hard stop prevents overtightening and provides a clear stopping point when locking the cover.
Tool-Free Cover Access
Both Standard and XL covers can be removed and reinstalled without tools, simplifying inspection and service.
Raised Sealing Surface
The raised, rounded sealing surface helps keep dirt and debris from interfering with the seal between the cover and collar.
Fiberglass Cover Construction
Injection-molded fiberglass provides a durable cover for long-term service in containment applications.
Polyethylene and Fiberglass Sump Options
Standard and XL retrofit kits are available with bonding materials matched to the existing sump:
- Polyethylene sumps: Clear Magic Poly Adhesive.
- Fiberglass sumps: Epoxy, fiberglass seam kit, or fiberglass adhesive options.
- Universal fiberglass kits: Epoxy bonding kit and fiberglass adapter plate.
Additional configurations are available with or without bonding kits and adapter plates.
Optional Inspection Port
An optional 4-inch inspection port is available for both Standard and XL covers, allowing quick inspection without removing the entire cover.
- IP4000-1: 4-inch inspection port.
Pre-Installation Survey Required
Complete a Twist-Lok Retrofit Kit Pre-Installation Survey for every order. The survey records the existing opening dimensions and clearances so PCI can confirm the appropriate cover size and kit configuration.

Clear Magic, PCI’s proprietary three-part adhesive, can be used with any of our fiberglass fittings to permanently bond fiberglass to polyethylene.
