The PCI 4500 Series is a 45-inch fiberglass tank sump that provides secondary containment around underground storage tank piping connections, fittings, valves, and submersible turbine pumps (STPs), with access for installation, inspection, and service.

Built from 100% corrosion-resistant fiberglass, the 4500 Series combines a universal 12-sided base, adjustable height options, and a watertight Twist-Lok™ Access Cover. Its mounting flexibility accommodates tank collar, manway, and bung-adapter installations.

Universal Mounting Design

The rigid universal base accommodates a compatible 42-inch tank collar, manway, or bung adapter. Solid-bottom and collar-mount configurations are available, with factory cutting and bonding kit options to match installation requirements.

Flat Surfaces for Penetration Fittings

The 12-sided base provides smooth, flat panels for drilling and sealing penetration fittings, helping simplify piping layout and fitting installation.

Room for Single or Dual STP Systems

The 4500 Series accommodates single or dual STP arrangements, providing working space for piping connections, installation, and ongoing service.

Duo-Molded Fiberglass Construction

PCI’s Duo-Molded Technology uses two layers of fiberglass with a high glass content to provide strength and fuel resistance for long-term secondary containment.

Adjustable Height Options

Three models accommodate different installation depths:

• PC4540U: Overall height of 30–38 inches.
• PC4550U: Overall height of 30–48 inches.
• PC4560U: Overall height of 30–58 inches.

These dimensions apply to solid-bottom configurations. Subtract one inch when mounting to a 42-inch tank collar.

Brite-White Interior

PCI’s Brite-White interior reflects light to improve visibility inside the sump, making inspection and identification of potential leak points easier.

Twist-Lok Access Cover

The 4500 Series comes standard with PCI’s fiberglass Twist-Lok™ Access Cover. A quick 12-degree turn locks the cover into place to create a watertight seal, with easy removal for inspection and service.
