The PCI 4200 Series is a solid-bottom fiberglass tank sump that provides secondary containment around underground storage tank piping connections, fittings, valves, and pumps, with access for inspection and service.

A cost-effective alternative to polyethylene tank sumps, the 4200 Series combines corrosion-resistant fiberglass construction, an octagonal base, and a nestable design. Multiple height options accommodate installation requirements, including retrofit applications.

Duo-Molded Fiberglass Construction

PCI’s Duo-Molded Technology uses two layers of fiberglass with a high glass content to provide strength and fuel resistance for long-term secondary containment.

Octagonal Base

The eight-sided base provides flat sealing surfaces for penetration fittings at 45-degree and 90-degree piping layouts, helping simplify fitting placement and installation.

Height Options for Installation and Retrofit

The 4200 Series includes a fixed-height model and adjustable models for different burial depths. Refer to the dimensions below for each model’s overall height and adjustment range. The solid-bottom 4200 Series is not designed for use with a 42-inch tank collar. For that mounting arrangement, explore the PCM4200 Series.

Nestable Design

Multiple sumps nest together for shipping and storage, helping reduce pallet requirements and conserve warehouse space.

Brite-White Interior

PCI’s Brite-White interior reflects light to improve visibility inside the sump, making inspection and identification of potential leak points easier.

Access Cover Options

Twist-Lok™ Access Covers provide a watertight seal with a quick 12-degree turn. Cover availability varies by model, with a bolt-down cover specified for the fixed-height PC4224 in the product brochure.
