In fuel system construction, timing matters. A delayed component can disrupt installation schedules, increase labor costs, and hold up an entire project. That is why PCI has built its operation around more than product quality. We also focus on availability, responsive service, and dependable delivery.
Since 1984, PCI has manufactured fiberglass secondary containment products for fueling facilities across the country. Today, our two manufacturing facilities encompass more than 200,000 square feet and are supported by a team of approximately 250 employees. This capacity allows PCI to manufacture a broad product line while responding quickly to the needs of contractors, distributors, engineers, and facility owners.
A Coordinated Manufacturing Process
PCI proudly manufactures its tank sumps, dispenser sumps, transition sumps, tank collars, penetration fittings, access covers, and other secondary containment products in the United States.
Components are manufactured at PCI facilities, where products are assembled as needed, inspected by our quality-control team, prepared for shipment, and delivered to customers nationwide.
This coordinated process provides control over final assembly and product quality while allowing our manufacturing, engineering, sales, and customer service teams to respond quickly to project requirements.
Products Designed for Efficient Installation
Keeping a project moving begins before a product ever reaches the jobsite. PCI products are designed to simplify transportation, handling, and installation.
Nestable tank and dispenser sump components reduce freight requirements and conserve warehouse space. Factory-cut tank collars improve fit consistency and reduce field preparation. Pre-plumbed dispenser sumps arrive with critical components already installed and are factory tested before shipment.
These features help contractors spend less time making field modifications and more time completing the installation.
Quality Control
Speed is important, but never at the expense of dependable performance. Before shipment, PCI products undergo final assembly, inspection, and quality-control checks to ensure consistent construction and reliable performance in the field.
Pre-plumbed sumps and Twist-Lok access covers undergo hydrostatic testing, while other containment products are tested according to their specific designs and applications. By identifying potential issues before products leave our facility, PCI helps reduce jobsite complications, unexpected service calls, and costly delays.
If an issue caused by a defect in materials or workmanship does occur, PCI products are backed by a five-year limited warranty, providing added confidence long after installation.
Fast Lead Times and Responsive Support
PCI maintains the production capacity and inventory needed to support projects of all sizes throughout the United States. Many of our penetration fittings are kept in stock and ready to ship, helping contractors secure critical components without unnecessary delays. PCI’s SMC-molded products are also available with extremely short lead times, providing consistent quality and dependable availability when project schedules are tight.
Custom and pre-plumbed systems are scheduled according to each project’s specific requirements, with our team working closely with customers to coordinate production and delivery. Whether an order involves a single repair fitting, standard containment products, or a complete custom system, PCI is committed to keeping the process moving.
Customers also have direct access to a team that understands secondary containment and the realities of fuel-system construction. From product selection and technical questions to installation guidance, order coordination, and delivery updates, PCI supports customers throughout every stage of the project.
